The capabilities of this role is to:
Gather model output and establish model performance
Demonstrate a sound understanding of the design in relation to fit with OEM overall design
Determine whether model runs ‘normally’
Where model run problems occur, investigate mathematical instabilities (debugging)
Identify the problem area inherent in the model
Propose solution to problem to Design Manager
Where model terminates normally, analyse the movie file to gauge the ‘look’ of the model
Where movie file highlights anomalies in the ‘look’, review the model build
Analyse engineering data, e.g., stress, strain, force, displacement, etc, and
Provide timely verbal feedback to the design team to deliver CAE analysis results


Your qualifications:
Education & Qualifications:
1. Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering, materials science or Applied Mechanics from accredited university

Experience:
Experience of working as CAE Engineer preferred
Design work in automotive field

Knowledge and Skills:
Strong theoretical knowledge of mechanics
Computer literacy – MS Office, at least one commercial CAE application (e.g. ANSYS, Hyperworks, Abaqus, etc), CAD (Unigraphics, CATIA v5, etc)
People management skills
Demonstrated capacity to learn progressively
Excellent communication skills (necessary for problem solving, team interaction, etc)
English language skills preferred
Local in Anhui province preferred
