Essential Responsibilities:
- Manage the construction projects
- Prepare for and attend the kick off meetings for schematics and engineering design
- Coordinate the submit schematics/engineering design for the approvals for construction
- Keep track of the construction permit for the projects
- Coordinate with the partners/developers and local authorities for the construction works
- Keep track of the licenses, various certificates and permit of use needed for store opening and business operations.
- Monitor the ongoing construction projects in terms of progress, quality and cost control.
- Plan and schedule construction projects in detail with vendors, and budget the construction projects with in detail.
- Store maintenance and property management.
- Hand over the property to Operations according to the proper procedures.
- Assist in the negotiation for property leasing or purchasing.
- Coordinate with other department for the store implementation.
- Organize filing/documentation for construction and as-built document.
- Review the projects after the project completion.
- Plan, schedule and budget in detail for construction projects, according to higher lever planning, scheduling and approved budget.
- Keep track of going through pre-construction procedures for design approvals and construction permits.
- Prepare the tendering document for selection of contractors, goods suppliers and consultants.
- Prepare information for design kicking-off.
- Review, assess and finalize the schematics and engineering design.
- Set up the database for cost control, based on the previously performed projects; keep and update the suppliers/vendors list for future projects.
- Review and audit on interim payments and final account for each individual project.
- Management of the following as the routine works:
·Review site construction dairy and records.
·Prepare weekly/monthly project report.
·Monitor on construction site for ongoing projects: progress, schedule and cost control.
·Attend site meetings on monthly bases with project management company, contractors and suppliers.
·Coordinate with partner/developer for construction works.
·Cooperate with Operations departments.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- College graduate, or above.
- Major in Civil Engineering or Mechanic Engineering.
- At least five years experience in construction or in construction management in retail business in China.
- Be proficient in English
