Responsiblefortheoverallmanagementofassignedcustomerprograms.　Createsandfostersteamworkprinciplesforthemulti-disciplinaryteamtheylead.　Monitorsteamprogressandtakesnecessaryactiontoinsureoverallprojectsuccess.　Scopeofresponsibilitiesincludesallcombinationsofcomponents,systems,andfullplatformprograms.
Establishesprogramtiming.　Createstimelinesforoverallprogramactivities,includingallphasesofprogramdevelopmentand(APQP)AdvancedProductQualityPlanningrequirements.　Thistaskrequiresatminimum,weeklytimelinereviewstoensurerequiredtasksarecompletedasscheduled.
Coordinatesmulti-disciplineteamactivities.　EnsuresthatresponsibleresourcesareassignedtoactivitiesdefinedbytheoverallprogramtimelineandallAPQPelements.
Monitorsandreportscustomerprogramongoingstatus.　AdvisesresponsibleCooperandcustomerrepresentativesofconcernsassociatedwiththeprogram.
Communicatesprogramrequirementstoallpersonsresponsibleforperformingselectedtasks(i.e.tooling,drawing,components,gauges,APQPrequirements,etc.).　Communicationsincludesdistributionofmeetingminutes,openissues,timelines,etc.
Monitors(PDR)ProductDevelopmentRequestprogressforassignedprograms.　AllPDR’swillbemonitoredandappropriatepersonswillbeadvisedifactionsarerequiredordatesareinjeopardy.　PDR’swillbetrackedforpartsaswellastestdata,drawings,prototypequotes,etc.
ConductsregularlyscheduledmeetingswiththecoreteamandCoopermanagementtoensureprogramstatusissuesarecommunicated.　Openissueswillbediscussedatregularlyscheduledmeetings.　Personswillbeassignedanddatesestablishedforconcernresolutiontoensuretimelyclosure.　Regularlyscheduledmeetingsincludeconfirmationprototypemeetingspriortoproduction,toolingkick-off,andpostlaunchmeetingstodiscuss“thingsgoneright/thingsgonewrong”.
Attendsrequiredcustomermeetingsandmaintains/distributeseffectivemeetingminutestoaffectedpersonsandCoopermanagement.
SchedulesCooperdesignreviewmeetingswiththeappropriatepersonsatappropriateprogramstages.
Afterreceivingacopyofanyprogram–specific(RFQ)RequestForQuote)fromtheSalesAccountExecutive,tracksprogress/completionaspartofnormalprogramissues.
